The Chief Blackhawk was by far, the most interestingly styled motorcycle coming from the Kings Mountain, North Carolina Plant. Built only one year and in two versions, the Blackhawk sported factory locking hard saddlebags, a unique seat cowl and also a cool 'fly screen'. In addition to this Black with Red highlights Blackhawk Dark, it was also available in.two-tone and chrome model,
The Fuel Injected Power Plus 105 engine has proven to be very powerful and also dependable. The 6-speed transmission was built by Baker and the brake system is from Brembo. The entire motorcycle was built from the very best components and each one was hand assembled by two master artisans from bare frame to completed motorcycle. The fit and finish of the Kings Mountain Chiefs is legendary and has never been duplicated due to the shear man hours that this build process required.
The 2011 Chief was also the 110th anniversary of the Indian brand and the bike is badged to commemorate this mark in history. Only 1100 total Kings Mountain Chiefs were ever built from 2009-2013 and many are in collections all over the world. 2011 is the last year the Chief was built in Kings Mountain, NC and subsequent KM designed bikes were built in Spirit Lake Iowa under the ownership of Polaris who purchased the brand in mid 2011.
This Blackhawk Dark also has the rare Factory Option Black Rim / Stainless spoke Wheels.
